Mission
The Hunt Valley Business Forum Public Policy Committee (PPC) is dedicated to addressing critical issues affecting the business community located in Northern Baltimore County from Lutherville, north through Sparks, MD in the Greater Hunt Valley area. Our focus includes legislative matters, transportation, real estate development, and public safety.
History and Today
In 2017, the HVBF created the Hunt Valley Stakeholders Committee with the mission of advocating for businesses from Lutherville to Sparks. In 2019, the committee was re-branded as the HVBF Public Policy Committee (PPC). Today, the PPC is comprised of representatives from HVBF Member businesses and is charged with identifying emerging legislative, transportation, land use, and public safety issues that may significantly impact local enterprises. The committee is also responsible for monitoring and recommending strategic actions or position statements regarding these matters. Additionally, the PPC disseminates pertinent information and call to action alerts to the HVBF Board of Directors, members, and the community as applicable.
